Artist Haven AMI was born out of love, strength and community. AMI stands for Anna Maria Island, which is a beautiful 7 mile barrier island in Florida, USA. It is between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico and it is where owner/resident artist, Lori McKinnon resides with her husband

Artist Haven AMI was a dream Lori had based on building community through art and encouraging others to follow their hearts. Artist Haven AMI is not just a gift shop, it is a destination, a dream come true and a place where artists and all lovers of handmade goods can visit to feel supported, encouraged and inspired. Lori believes handmade items hold a special energy that will never be found in mass produced items that are created by machines. Art is found deep within us all and it just needs nurturing and a place to be shown

We are a family of 60+ artisans and have come together for a time such as this! We are thankful for all the support and love we have received since opening our doors on that first day in January 2024. We have a wide range of items to offer and inventory changes constantly

We ship all over the United States and we do not have everything on this website as it is an ever changing inventory within our shop. There are some things on this website and Facebook that we will list as "In-Store Pick Up Only" due to it's size, weight or fragility and they will not be shippable.
